Margaret Annabelle (Rogers) Clugston, of Yates Center, Kansas died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Deseret Health and Rehabilitation Center located in Yates Center, Kansas; she was 91. Margaret Annabelle (Rogers) Clugston was born October 10, 1921 to Millard and Minnie (Steinforth) Rogers in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood. On June 18, 1939 she married Martin Clugston and they started living their lives in the country southwest of Yates Center. On the farm she enjoyed working in her garden, growing flowers and spending time with her family. She joined Mt. Pleasant Christian Church early in her life and later transferred her membership to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Yates Center. Margaret and her husband retired from farming in 1993 and moved to Yates Center. There they enjoyed going to the Senior Center, playing cards and dancing with friends. Margaret Annabelle (Rogers) Clugston is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Clugston) Jones of Yates Center; Grandsons: Art Jones; Carter Jones and wife Julie all of Kansas City, Missouri; David Jones and wife Melissa of Yates Center; great-grandchildren: Nolan, Hannah and Jonathan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Martin in 2006; sister Alice Monk, two infant sons and a son-in-law: Edward “Ed” Jones in 2010. Services for Margaret are planned for Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 10:30AM at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center, Kansas; burial will follow in Yates Center Cemetery, Yates Center, Kansas; no formal visitation is planned. The family suggests memorials to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Yates Center. The memorials may be sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home P.O. Box 188 Yates Center, Kansas 66783
