Margos Tcells are in!! The infusion began at 11:15 and completed at 12:30. At one point there were 8 doctors and nurses in our room. Everyone was in-and-out making sure all was perfect as the infusion got started, then our nurse stayed with us through the whole infusion, taking vitals every 15 minutes during infusion, then every 30 min and now every hour. The princess fell asleep before the infusion was complete. Its amazing that these LIVING cells (HER cells), not chemicals, are killing her leukemia! A little bag with her miracle inside. I know we have shared that this innovative treatment will make her very sick. We WANT that to happen now (up to a certain extent). The storm lets us know the cells are doing their job! So our prayer request is that she gets a FEVER!! Crazy, right? When she does get the fever, we know the storm has started, the cells are working and she will be moved to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Yes, thats because there are some pretty significant risks, so please also pray she does not experience anything TOO harsh. Third of course, we are all praying in agreement that the cells are killing ALL of the leukemia! Thank you prayer warriors!
