Margo’s Story Margo Miller is from St. Louis. She began her courageous battle with leukemia in June of 2012, when she was just 21 months old. After 1 year of extensive chemotherapy, she began what was supposed to be 2 years of lower dose, maintenance chemo. Unfortunately, on January 27, 2014 (only 19 months and 2 days from her original diagnosis), her leukemia returned. Because Margos cancer is proving resistant to chemotherapy, her hope now is for a bone marrow transplant. Because her brother was not a match for Margo, her family is now dependent on finding a marrow donor... waiting on a match as she begins more extensive chemotherapy to prepare her little body for transplant. Whether between treatments or even during them, she is full of light! Margo is a sweet, old soul and wise beyond her 3 years. She loves anything pink, playing mommy to her animals and babies, playing teacher and especially playing doctor.
