#Marijuana Industry Would Be Worth A Fortune Under Full Legalization If all 50 states re-legalized, the industry would be worth $35 billion just six years from now. THIS IS A LOW ESTIMATE! They are talking about taxes and retail sales numbers. This does NOT account for the economic benefits of the coming GREENRUSH. All the new companies formed and the additional employees that would need to be hired. It does NOT account for all the business support services added, more accounting work, more manufacturing orders, more advertising sales, the increase in Marijuana tourism, the exports, nor does it account for the industrial growth that would come as a result of hemp being re-introduced, etc. etc. etc. (as Yul Brenner said in The King and I) Doesnt account for the money saved in the justice system by no longer arresting and imprisoning users, or the money that no longer needs to be spent on this ridiculous and racist drug war. This number on scratches the surface!
