Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) is the Marine Corps - TopicsExpress

Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) is the Marine Corps largest and youngest command -- and it effects the lives of Marines and their families on a daily basis. Carrying the torch for MCICOM is commanding general, Major General Juan Ayala, who is responsible for all installation matters and oversees 2.3 million acres, 12,000 buildings, 33,127 personnel and 283 ranges. The Command is the sole authority for all for installation matters such as facilities, installation protection, logistics services, work force management, aviation operations and information technology among many others. MCICOM also acts as an advocate between Marine Corps tenants and decision-makers who impact installation activities. mcicom.marines.mil/Portals/57/Docs/MCICOM%20Oversight.pdf
