Marings President feted THOUBAL, Mar 15: The blessing cum felicitation programme of the newly elected President of the MaringUparap Assembly (MUA), an apex body of the Maring Tribe, was held today at Khukarthil village Community Hall in Chandel District. Rev K Moses, Executive Secretary, Maring Naga Baptist Association (MNBA) invoked the blessing of the Almighty for the newly elected President and his family. Gilbert, Former President of CNPO; Rev H Khamba, President of Maring Naga Baptist Association (MNBA); Robert Lamkang, General Secretary of Chandel Naga Peoples Organisation and his colleague; M Moses, Vice-President of Maring Uparap Assembly; Angkhong Saka, General Secretary of Maring Uparap Assembly, tribe leaders, Students leaders, Village Chairmen and authority members, Church leaders and other frontal organisations of Maring tribe were also present at the programme.
