Mark 16-15 tells us that after His resurrection Jesus Christ gave His disciples power and authority over the world, in His name they will drink poisonous things but will not die, handle deadly serpents but wont get harm, cast out demons etc. Those are some of the works of power that will follow them as they believe in His name. We also hear stories of how the sick were healed by just being on the shadow of the apostles in the early centuries. Dont get me wrong I am not after miracles but I m after that power that was given to the first apostles. What happened to that power-are we as apostles of today capable of doing those works or we only good at fighting with each other? Why do we not have that power anymore? Did we change their teachings and also lost the power in the process? How do we restore that power? I know that most came here for fighting-this post is not asking for your fight and your negative comments.
