Mark 2:15-16 (NKJV) 15 Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him. 16 And when the scribes and[a] Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said TO HIS DISCIPLES, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” You may notice in this passage, when the scribes and Pharisees had a problem with Jesus, they questioned the disciples and did not confront Jesus Himself. Why is that? Well, the same thing goes on all over the world. When people have a problem with YOU, they don’t take the issue up with YOU, but instead, slander you behind your back to others. We should be able to recognize these people and when they slander others behind their backs, say to them, “Why don’t you take the matter up with them?” Or better yet, “Let’s go together and address this problem you have with this person.” The reason you need to take the person with you, is so they cannot deny saying what they have said about the person, and so you do not look like the rumor monger. I place my beliefs openly on Facebook, so that if anyone has something to say about them, they can challenge me openly. This is Biblical. If anyone ever slanders me behind my back, please let me know. God bless!
