Mark 3 28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” Most of us look at these verses and wonder if we have blasphemed the Holy Spirit of God! I am not a theologian, but I will still give you my humble interpretation: to reject what the Holy Spirit is trying reveal through Christ (Salvation)! My final thoughts on Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit are if you are questioning if you did this sin; you probably didn’t, but if you still have questions ask your pastors: “These words were never intended to torment anxious souls honestly desiring to know Christ, but they stand out as a blazing beacon warning of the danger of persisting in the rejection of the Spirit’s testimony of Christ, until the seared conscience no longer responds to the gospel message.” (Ironside) But what most fail to see in these verses is Christ reassurance of God’s grace by saying, “all” sin is forgiven “but” …
