Mark Anthoni Thomas (I always give him credit for this comment even if it did not originate with him) told me once about the distinction between sacred and vulgar in our theological concept. Thanks to a suggestion made to me by my Preachers Steward Rashad J. Smith-Cooper, I am finding inspiration through this song. youtu.be/iJgxJ6JrPkc It seems that the Expositors Bible Commentary agrees as I am finishing my reading and preparation for tomorrows sermon from John 1:6 - There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The commentary says, John came to speak on a human level and to AWAKEN people to their need for Gods revelation (emphasis mine). P.S. to members of Memorial, you do NOT want to be late and miss the opening of worship tomorrow.
