Mark Bentley Talks About Roundhouse Changes More change coming in the Roundhouse. Governor Susana Martinez is changing out many of her department secretaries, but so far the most controversial is still in place. One announcement among the several that is getting Legislative attention, both positive and negative, is moving Tourism Secretary Monique Jacobson to the Children, Youth and Families Department. Jacobson is a marketing expert, but has little experience in areas covered by the CYFD. Martinez said “Her strong intellect and impeccable management skills will serve the agency well, and she is a leader who is well-known for producing results.” CYFD has come under fire for how it has handled high-profile child abuse cases. Governor Martinez says Jacobson will provide strong management.
