Every policy that reduces the number of people with the money needed to buy your goods or services is harmful to economic growth and every policy that increases the number of people with the money needed to buy your goods and services is good. Moreover, business doesnt care where their customers got the money, be it a good job or a government benefit check. It is simply maddening to have the economic ignorati spewing the utter nonsense that taking money out of the pockets of poor and middle class citizens who spend every penny is bad for business while putting the money into the pockets of rich people who have nothing left to buy and nowhere to invest is great for the economy. Even worse are media outlets who continually seek out the opinion of those who know nothing and have been wrong about everything so they can come up with yet a new excuse for why they dont understand that 2 + 2 still equals 4 no matter what their politics are.
