Mark Innocent August 16, 2012 I had my differences with religious people, Christians in particular, growing up because I was rejected from that circle, and often judged and condemned based on appearance alone. Later on when I got a better understand of the word, I realized that it was hypocrisy because Christ said do not judge and you will not be judged, and do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Then I had to analyze the elements of the environment where I grew up, the gutta/ghetto, full of hopelessness and wickedness of all kinds. The religious force, whos intentions is to live in a righteous and God fearing society and eliminate the evil was necessary to resist the force of evil from further consuming and destroying the environment. On the other hand, a resistant force against religious people, who have become so closed minded and spiritually blind, was needed to prevent the religious people from going on a Red Dragon - Nazi Holocaust type Crusade to take out all the trash or whoever didnt meet up to their standards and have the same religious views. God is a God of peace and mercy, his son, the Hebrews Messiah came not for the righteous, but to bring sinners to repentance, so he would probably rebuke the Nazi movement, like he did the Pharisee movement, who become so religious and closed minded that they become spiritually blind and trample and oppress the poor and lost, then condemn them for their rebellion against their oppressive movement. [Spiritual Blindness John 9: 35Jesus heard that they had thrown him out (of the synagogue, GWT), and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36“Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.” 37Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.” 38Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. 39Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” 40Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?” 41Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.] It wasnt until I started gaining success and exceeding expectations, graduating from college and working in Corporate America, and during a time of recession and desperation that religious people sought me to come to church, and answer a calling of God on my life. I mean random people coming to me left and right wanting to talk to me about God all of a sudden and it made me believe more, and I sought God and witnessed his glory, and paid more attention to the signs. But when the peer, religious & social pressure mounted and persecution came, I became soo overwhelmed to the point of suffering a stroke. Then all those religious people who were pushing me were no where to be found, and the enemy and even some religious people constantly persecuted O_o trying to destroy me and send me astray, and setting traps in my way after I had fallen weak and lost from the stroke. They would provoke and insult me to my very face, and it made me to give up and die. But I persevered and some of the same religious people that was pushing me, had turned against me and were condemning me. But to look on the bright side, many believers, and even others who might be considered non believers or unrighteous, were there to give me spiritual support and encourage me not give up. In conclusion, Religion and Society is very complex, but I think the right and left forces are important for balance of powers so that we dont have another Nazi Holocaust and also for the wicked to not corrupt and destroy the world. In time, with love, instead of hate, I think the two sides will mesh and progress or evolve, and the God of Peace will put Satan under your feet. [Ephesians 6:10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.]
