Mark Koepke, or any other Campagnolo aficionados, can you Identify , conclusively the Campagnolo New rear hub with an ALLOY cassette body, appears to be an eight speed, although it has the modern teeth on the body. And, I fell into some 105 Shimano Brakes, and this set of 8,9,10 speed body, and I found out the mystery 8 speed cog set I got for $1 is Shimano Compatible. I was wondering if an 8 speed Down tube exists, shifters, I KNOW there are bar ends. I do have a couple of bids on the STI lever/shifter 105, used, but acceptable, since all parts have been extremely inexpensive. I am bidding on a Campagnolo Titanium 8 speed cog set, with titanium lock ring , if it stays around $120, Ill do it. Otherwise, since this is a new hub, I kind of wanted it for the CBT Italia, thinking it is a Mirage, I have the Front, Mirage, although the quality is noticeably less good. I have all the needed Ergo Aluminum levers, Carbon lever/shifters, and new Campagnolo cable set for it. The frame has 129 mm rear spacing, if needed I could just do a Friction build.. Both work since it is steel. I have a used Chorus complete 8 speed subset, Chorus 8 speed Rear Derailleur, and obvious Crank, although used, the Chorus hubs have a steel cassette body. And NOS 8 speed cogs, Record, as well as 2 other fine sets. Thanks, Tim
