Mark Orozco announced today that his campaign has already raised more than $100,000 in his bid to unseat longtime incumbent Marion Ashley for Riverside’s 5th Supervisorial district. Orozco tributes his great start to the desire voters have for better representation in Riverside County. “It’s shaping up to be a really competitive race that will give voters a meaningful choice in the next election” says Orozco. As a teacher, business owner, and former Beaumont School Board Member Mark Orozco brings a new perspective to the Supervisors race. Backed by law enforcement, local businesses, and families, Mark represents the future of Riverside County. “I’ve had all this wonderful support from every corner”, says Mark, “This amazing fundraising start is due entirely to the generosity of the people who care about what’s happening in their County, but in order to put an end to Riverside County’s good old boys club we need to continue to raise money. Together we can make a difference and put Riverside on the right track for a stronger future.” However, the campaign stresses that the battle isn’t over yet. “Our internal polling tells us that people are ready for change, but we’ll need to keep up the momentum over the next few months if we’re going to have a strong impact in this election” says Orozco.
