Mark Spasser, I greatly appreciate you finding and sharing this article. The writing is superb! But what really gets to me is the deep feelings that the writer obviously has toward the issue of dialog on depression. I have feelings such as those, as well. I have the real thing, the depression, and it really sucks, but there are so many treasures hidden in the darkness, and those treasures come in form as creativity. I have found, through my daily small circle of acquaintances and friends, a presence of both depression and anxiety troubles, and I never would have found this companionship if I didnt talk about depression openly. The social implications of opening the dialog on a larger and freer scale excites me. There are a lot of us around.
