Mark and Debbie Zimmerman were married on November 14th, 2004. Debbie was diagnosed with Leukemia and Mark was by her side helping her through everything. Then last year, Mark was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has had many complications with surgery and radiation. Doctors had to remove one of his kidneys, and lymph nodes. He had radiation through the winter of 2013. During a checkup, doctors found small cell carcinoma on his liver. He then went through another full round of chemo for 6 months, and during another doctors visit, they found that the cancer had spread to his brain. Doctors are no longer treating his cancer. Mark was self-employed and both are unable to work. Insurance has reached its max and so they have to sell their home and the majority of their personal property. Its been emotional for them and difficult selling family heirlooms. We are doing everything that we can to help these wonderful people.
