Mark, referring to your comment on the use of power tools for cutting styrene, unless you use Dremel tools, I would advise against it. The styrene used for scratch building does not take well to heat caused by friction. As a matter fact I hardly ever use power tools on any of my scratch builds. The nice thing about Styrene is the fact that you scribe it bend it and it breaks clean. To built a model without scale drawings is possible but take more effort. If you can lay your hands a little book :Airfix magazine guide 21 Modelling Armoured Cars by Gerald Scarborough, it explains it down to the letter. If you want to try it let me now and I can Photostat the particular section for you.
