Mark`s tour blog Dear All, For those of you who did not see my last blog, I am NBZ`s tour driver, stage hand and part time merch man, not the very talented Mr Feltham. What a last few days it`s been, Europe trashed the USA in the Ryder Cup, Palace soared up the league to the heady heights of 9th in the premiership ( on the same amount of points as Spurs ) and even Fulham won ( much to the surprise of BB ) and of course much more importantly NBZ have started their “ Classic Line Up “ tour. The first five dates have seen us visit Chichester ( sold out ) London ( The Blues Kitchen ) which of course was an invited audience, Deal, Whitstable ( sold out ) and Canvey ( packed house ) it`s been a wonderful start to the tour and for me it`s been great to meet old friends and new, The Blues Kitchen was an amazing night, a fantastic atmosphere brought about by friends and supporters travelling from far and wide ( some very far ! ) personally I love the new set which is really a “ best of “ the first three albums. It`s great to have Mickey Burkey back, it`s almost impossible to believe he has hardly played in 30 years, it`s like he`s never been away. On a personal level the tour has been a fairly comfortable start ( 470 miles so far ) as we have not travelled further than a couple of hours as yet, but after our short break we head northwards on Thursday to Nottingham then up to Manchester ( Fri ) and Glasgow ( Sat ) so the miles will soon pile up. If you intend going to any of the shows, do buy tickets in advance, as you have read a couple of the first weeks shows were sold out and believe me you don`t want to miss this ….
