On Friday, March 21, Dr. Jim Kok will deliver a plenary address focusing on the importance of caring for one another. On March 22, workshops as well as keynote talks will be given throughout the day on numerous ways that we can demonstrate the compassion of Christ. The vision statement for the conference on Care and Kindness summarizes it this way, “By exemplary caring behavior, the love of Christ will be delivered everywhere- sometimes named and sometimes not , but always God’s caring touch at work. We see waves of self giving opening people to the love of God and moving them to give of themselves in like manner.
