Mark your calendar for a community commemoration July 17th marking the 20th anniversary of the attack on AMIA, the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires. The Hon. Chaim Shacham, Consul General of Israel, and the Hon. Miguel Talento, Consul General of Argentina, will make special presentations, and guest speaker will be Miguel Bronfman, the principal lawyer representing AMIA following the 1994 attack on the Buenos Aires JCC, believed to have been done by Iranian terrorists, that left 85 dead and hundreds injured. The July 17th event takes place 7 pm at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus, 20350 NE 26 Ave., North Miami Beach. Hosted by the AJC Latino and Latin American Institute and Beth Torah with participating community institutions including Temple Israel.
