Market women sometimes frustrate marketing strategies of companies! Why would market women increase the price of goods that have extra incentives in them. Say for example, Unilever is doing a promotional with Close Up toothpaste and include promotional materials like a tooth brush in each toothpaste pack. Market women will increase the price of the packs with toothpaste and end up defeating the purpose of the promotional and ensure the company has wasted several amounts for material (toothbrush) purchase and packaging!
