Marleys Mutts Dog Rescue **Graphic Content Alert** Removing the object of Boy-dogs enslavement: I have hesitated to post this video of our Boy-dog but it necessary: to illustrate what hes been through and to conjure up shock and outrage. Our Boy-dog experienced the enslavement/torture and its up to us to tell his story so that we may catch the perpetrators and prevent such atrocities in the future. In this video, you can see the Doc removing the anchor-clip from the back of his leg, where it had been gruesomely implanted to keep Boy-dog immobile and chained. We are used to seeing chained up dogs, which is unfortunate, but to have the chain physically implanted through the leg is one of the most disturbing displays of human capacity for evil Ive ever seen. After rescuing Hooch (tongue was cut out), nothing surprises me, but it does disgust me and serve as a catalyst to redouble our efforts in Kern County to stop, prevent and educate about animal abuse, welfare and compassion. It must have been very difficult to free himself from such bondage and I give our Boy-dog a ton of credit for escaping that situation.
