I always felt something was off in the house facade and finally realized I did not like the plain black pole with the street names .. soooo, not only did I place the fancy ornamental curly cues, I also bought a light and placed it atop the pole (electrified from within the house) to make it look like a lamp post in some 19th century Latin Quarter somewhere .. I am the only house in the entire subdivision with a lamp light atop the street name! Wonder if the Monterrazas Home Association will comment? Maybe I should place a round table and sell Starbucks coffee, too? :-)
