Following the release of the promotional single “It Was Always You“, bit.ly/1AzV9Gr the band has ready the next and final countdown single before the arrival of the album. The track “Animals” serves as the third overall single from this era and was confirmed as the second official single after its released alongside the pre-order of the album on iTunes on August 25th. The song was co-written by Adam Levine, Benjamin Levin and Shellback. It’s also part of the new Kia Soul EV Hamster Commercial, which will be presented during the MTV VMAs on August 24. Recently, the band also unveiled a brand new version of its smash single “Maps“, with the guest vocals of Big Sean. bit.ly/1Jfh6AA Maroon 5 re-released the track with the guest collaboration of American recording artist J Cole. The new version of the track was released on iTunes on September 29th. The same day, the band premiered the official bloody brilliant music video on Vevo. It was directed by Samuel Bayer.
