Marriage Is For Better Living... Marriage is not what the world and religious folks interpreted it to be; they said its for better for worse despite theres no place such ribbon of bondage is found in the Scripture. God designed and ordained marriage for better living; Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” (Genesis 2:18 NLT) And the wise said, The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord. (Proverbs 18:22 NLT) And Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 NLT) * Many of us has been suffering in the name of marriage because we were deceived by our religious leaders who defined marriage to be for better for worse even when its obvious that you experience or becomes whatever you believe. * Believe Gods definition of marriage and enjoy His favor upon your life and marriage; ...Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” (Romans 3:4 ESV) * God designed the woman from the beginning to be a helper to the man, its wrong to divorce a helper. A woman is not a devil who comes to hurt, no wonder Jesus gave us the authority to cast him out in His Name! God did not join help and hurt together but love and submission; what God did not join together He gave man power to put asunder. Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:18-20 ESV) * Religious people are quick to bind but sees loose as an abomination; they rather die in bondage thinking they are doing the will of God. Agreement is very important in marriage - Amos 3:3. God is present in any love-submission based marriage, and wherever God is theres liberty; Bondage and liberty cannot co-habit, even in marriage! Marriage is a bond of love and submission, not a bondage of lifetime for better for worse! + Friends, May your marriage improve your life, and not diminish your happiness in Jesus Name! Amen!
