Marriage commitment: we have to change our mind on things to be the happily ever after spouse. I saw Bishop TDJakes sermon manifest from Nothing You Have Been through Is Wasted. I saw Pastor Michael Clayton Harris sermon based on Romans 8:28, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. And I saw Pastor Creflo A. Dollars sermon on grace manifest through the scripture, Romans 5:20, 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: I ministered to a friend who was distraught and was unable to sleep. He called me terrified. I ran to see what upset him. He told me the story. He was seeing a woman who we agreed from a previous conversation that he needed to leave alone. He was a benefactor for her; so she did not want him to stop. He met her at a place that was not her home. She met him on the street and requested him to go to a place to talk. He complied and wondered why. She said it was a lesbian friends home who hates men. He gave her the money and left her as he found her. Later, he needed to retrieve some things from her left at her place that he sponsored for her. She was not there. She did not answer his calls. He feared something wrong, so he went to the friends home to check on her. Long story short, it was her boyfriends home. He was confronted by him with a gun and threatened if he did not leave. Well, you ask where does the sin occur. He was married with children; and his wife did not know that he left. He had nightmares about the incident, but no one to whom he could talk, but me. His wife heard him talking in his sleep; and she was not able to piece the things together. SIDE NOTE: ladies do not become sensitive to things, but let the spirit lead you. Specifically, just because something appears similar to this situation in terms of your husband dreaming, then do not make a mountain out of a mole hill and disturb you happy home. GOD will tell you and show you what you can handle. BACK TO THE DRAMA: He knew of our trust and my previous experience with prayers being answered when I pray for others. He knew of my experience cheating in past relationships. He felt lead to speak with me. Of course, I ran to his rescue. He was concerned about the guy coming to his home from possibly taking his tag. He was concerned about the lies and deceit that she gave him, ironically the seed reaped from those he told his wife. NO, I DID NOT SAY THAT TO HIM. He was upset for possibly losing his life and disturbing the lifestyle his wife, who he truly loves, and children who he loves as well. SIDE NOTE: men do not cheat based on lack of love for their wife. It is a long conversation based on misconceptions, ego, insecurity, unhealthy stress management, etc. NOW GRACE ABOUNDS: He swore to never see that woman again. GOD protected him from harm when he could have been another statistic. People were praying for him through intercession without him knowing. I checked my journal and saw I was intercession that morning. Praying in the spirit is important for those who are lead to do so. Moreover, he received GODs peace. I gave him Philippians 4:6-8 on which to meditate and to confess over himself. Philippians 4:6-8King James Version (KJV) 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. I told him that He cannot worry about any retaliation; because He serves a GOD bigger than any situation who said, Isaiah 54:17King James Version (KJV) 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. He felt very comforted after we prayed over the situation. I told him that we have to praise GOD. He said that it was the worst day of his life. I disagreed. I said it was the best day; because he was not injured physically, his wife did not find out anything, and he has a happy home to which he can return. I told him to look at my situation, the woman I lost, the money I lost which is a thousand times more than he spent on the woman with whom he transgressed, and the family I lost to impact on a daily basis as their father at home. I affirmed in him that it was the best day on how GOD showed him that Jesus covered his sin for him. I showed him that grace abounded; because his heart was convicted to refrain from cheating anymore, to save money, and to heal him from condemnation. I told him to invest that money in his household or himself, since he was paying it monthly anyway. He slept like a baby that night. He was blessed with the fruits of his changed mind. GOD knows how to lead you, but we have to follow HIs lead. In terms of the guy and the girl, I affirmed in him that she is in some trouble for inviting another dude to his house, so he should not have to worry about it even on the street level, In terms of him having anything on him that he should not worry; because most guys dont fight over women after the heat of the moment is settled. She tried to call him the next day, but he did not answer and she has left him alone since. Obviously, she broke-up with Mr. Next. This shows the judgment on those in the kingdom versus those not in the kingdom. When you receive Jesuss purpose, redemption for us for our sins, then grace abounds and you are truly saved from hell on earth and after death. Heaven is for real! I saw how GOD used me to help GODs glory to manifest in his life through my experiences of cheating, anger management, and trust in GOD and my ability to relate to him. Be careful how you lead people; because GOD holds you accountable for how you feed his sheep. Just allow GOD to lead you, especially when helping, or interceding, for others. Thank You, Pastor Michael Clayton Harris, Pastor Creflo Dollar, and Bishop TDJakes, and other people who I cannot name who helped me to grow through our experiences to be a better man, a Man of GOD. I had to change my mind to be this man. youtu.be/r1fCXIB2oro
