Marriage is uniting in spirit and mind as well as flesh. My marriage is me submitting to the leadership and authority that he was created in. My marriage is keeping my word to God. My marriage is me choosing to love him during those times when he isnt so lovable. My marriage is me appreciating him loving me when Im not so lovable. My marriage is forgiveness: of myself and of him. My marriage is seeing him at his lowest but treating him as if he is at his highest. My marriage is speaking life into him. My marriage is me trusting my choice in the man that I chose to be my covering. My marriage is learning new things about me, thru interaction with him. My marriage is learning new things about him, thru his interactions with me. My marriage is arguing with him about things that are important to me, but not that important to him. My marriage is trying to show an interest in the things that interest him. My marriage is me carrying the burden of our survival, when hes down. My marriage is him carrying that same burden when Im down. My marriage is laughter. My marriage is goofiness. My marriage is getting on each others nerves, but knowing that there is no one else Id rather have one my nerves. My marriage is fighting to stay strong when its easier to be weak. My marriage is refusing to give up even when it Seems to make more sense to do so. My marriage is his frustration bcs Im not living to my potential. My marriage is calling him on his mess when I know he can do better. My marriage is sacrifice. My marriage is knowing that everything that we do individually is for the both of us, not the individual. My marriage is ironing his clothes up for the week so that each morning, he can sleep a little extra. My marriage is him buying me butter pecan ice cream bcs it makes me smile. My marriage is me wearing his shoes, tho I know hes going to fuss. My marriage is him running out in the rain bcs I left something in the car. My marriage is date nights consisting of board games and cards. My marriage is solemn nights as one fall asleep on the other. My marriage is plans for the future and not just tomorrow. My marriage is talking about the mistakes of our past so that we dont repeat them. My marriage is taking on all of his troubles and believing that everything will work out fine. My marriage is him loving the good, bad, and ugly about me and still think Im great. My marriage is being able to crack on each other and no one takes it personal. MY marriage is being able to double team the kids in parenting. My marriage is learning how to love him by knowing how to love myself. My marriage is not him or me, but its US. My marriage is important bcs it is not just a piece of paper, but a covenant with each other and God. It is the extended foundation for our continued legacies, but the beginning foundation for the start of our own Empire. My marriage is having my best friend to grow old with and still grow up with. To adapt to each others ways and changes. To change for him bcs it will make me better as a person and better as HIS wife. MY marriage is important to me bcs its ours....unlike anybody elses.
