Marshalls Guacamole Recipe This is our favorite guacamole recipe (the one we shared this morning on Good Day Columbus). Even people who say they dont like guacamole often like this guacamole! The original base recipe is from one of our favorite Mexican restaurants and we modified it with our own touches. Ingredients: 3 avocados 2 tbsp garlic 4 limes 1 red onion 1 4.25 oz can diced chilies 1 bunch cilantro 3/4 tsp coarse-ground salt Directions: Juice the limes. Pit the avocados and save the seeds. Put the peeled avocados in a large mixing bowl, preferably with a flat bottom. Add 1/4 cup lime juice to the avocados and mash with a potato masher. Put onion, cilantro, garlic, and chilies in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add salt and another 1/8 cup lime to the avocado-lime mix then combine with the onion-cilantro mix. It is ready to serve immediately but improves as the flavors combine over a few hours or overnight. Note: When storing overnight, drop the avocado seeds into the top of the guacamole then seal with plastic wrap. The combination of the lime juice and the seeds helps keep the guacamole from turning brown as quickly.
