Martin Luther King - I Have a Dream on August 28, 1963 [Sous-titres & Subtitles] [FULL SPEECH] 50 years ago today, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered this great speech. Just think of the progress the United States has made since those early days of the Civil Rights Movement. From desegregating the armed forces in 1948 to Rosa Parks in 1955, from the Little Rock Nine in 1957 to Medgar Evers in 1963, from I Have a Dream in 1963 to rMemphis in 1968, we have come a long way as a nation. When this speech was delivered 50 years ago today, our President and our Attorney General could not get a seat at a lunch counter in Washington, DC. Today, black men sit in the White House and the Justice Department. Agree or disagree with the President, you do know that having a black man twice elected president is a step to equality. Thank you.
