Martin Luther King Jr...A mighty man of God who followed Jesus. A prophet who saw beyond the present calamity and had the courage to declare the truth. I want to apologize for the sins of our fathers and for the darkness that we have yet to overcome, for the ugliness and injustice of racism. My prayer today is that we can take responsibility for our actions and learn to love our neighbor regardless of any differences that God ordained to establish uniqueness among those He created. I also want to celebrate the hurrdles that we have overcome and the people who have given so much to facilitate such progress.
