Martins Neon Genesis Evangelion Journal Episode 20: I am literally going into every episode not knowing what to exect. Is that a good thing? And our episode begins with thew last moments of the previous episode. I can’t believe Kaji asked about Gendo’s son because GENDO HAS NO SON! And Dr. Ritsuko is hiding something I can feel it. I doubt that (SPOILER ALERT) Shinji’s soul can be in the Eva. And we have another weird inner monologue from Shinji along with that weird thing where we see a bunch of images flashing really quickly. Also, Shinji Ikari has the biggest daddy issues in the history of daddy issues; I’m going that far. Also, our journey into Shinji’s mind tells us that he wants to “become one” with Misato, Asuka, AND Rei, while they all say the same thing doing the same animation while naked. I have no idea what’s happening right now. And Misato compared Kaji to her dad. And the way the episode ends, who was calling Misato and Kaji would do that?
