Maruf to be shifted to Shorohowardy Hospital for thigh would healing! -------------------------------------------------------------- Today at last we were compelled to transfer Maruf, the Blood Cancer child to Plastic Surgery Unit of Shahid Shohorowardy Hospital to heal his large would resulted from repeated bursting out of the aneurysm of femoral blood vessels, pooling of blood there and formation of very large amount of clot! Recently after vascular surgery at NICVD (National Institute of Cardio-Vascular Disease), Dhaka, a very large would containing various degrees of decaying cells with full muscle depth was produced after draining of all clots with gap of 9 cm! We started to give again Antibiotic injections and sat in Medical Board where we came in to decisions that the wound might take months to yield granulation tissue to fill up the gap and for the very skilled dressing is needed everyday or alternate days what we lack at our hospital. This is usually possible to get on the government large or specialized hospitals! I have talked with Prof. Mahbubul Islam of Shohorowardy Hospital, a very close friend of mine who kindly told me the possibility of Marufs admission at Plastic Surgery Unit of his hospital. Inshallah tomorrow Maruf will go there and inshallah be back after healing of the would to continue his Cancer Treatment! Please all pray to Allah for Maruf!
