She went on to marry Charles Denver Woolfork. Her husband would often refer to his wife as Suga Babe, but Suga Babe had another side of her that you DARE not threaten, for she NEVER backed down from a Fight! In a small, rural town, west of St. Louis, Mo; is Wentzville, Mo. A small population of mostly farmers, share croppers, and working class where everyone knew everyone. In the 70s racial tension was high! During a traffic stop by a Wentzville Officer in his 20s, which ended on Marys Private Property. The young officer made racial comments and struck Mrs Woolfork, and like the Fireball she was she Defended herself till she drew blood and back up came! Suga Babe sued the City of Wentzville and WON!
