Mary Free Bed CEO Gets Celebrated Patient to the Alter in Style Grand Rapids, Michigan – June 21, 2013 – Johnnie Tuitel has written books, logged more than 500,000 miles presenting motivational speeches across the country, and advocated for people with disabilities all of his life. But last March, the healer needed healing. Tuitel was involved in a serious accident and choose Mary Free Bed for rehabilitation of his mild brain injury. He had also been neglecting his cerebral palsy, which he has had since birth. After a six week course of rehabilitation, Tuitel left Mary Free Bed amazed that he was able to do more than he had in years – both mentally and physically. The motivational speaker is now motivated to become in his words, “the best person that I choose to be.” An instrumental part of that journey includes marrying his fiancé and business partner, Laura Folsom, on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Cue Mary Free Bed CEO Kent Riddle, who visited Tuitel several times during his hospitalization. When Riddle learned about the impending nuptials, he offered to chauffer the bridal couple in his antique amphibious vehicle. The bride and groom will embark from Collins Park on the shores of Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids at 3:00 pm. They will boat to Waterfront Park on Reeds Lake Boulevard for the ceremony. Riddle promises to get the couple to the wedding on time – by lake and by land. The public is invited to witness the nuptials. In the event of rain, Tuitel says, “Bring umbrellas!”
