Having had no experience in the business Mary stepped up to the challenge with the confidence of knowing how to cook. Her generous hospitality was demonstrated in her great homemade meals this along with large family gatherings were special for Mary. Whether it was chicken noodle soup or baking homemade bread that aroma was always present in her home. Her pride and joy was a recipe for the BBQ sandwich often requested at S & K Dairy. Her talents not only included cooking but crocheting, cake decorating, and gardening. She and George enjoyed wonderful trips throughout the United States. She saw things as black and white, no grey area and would conclude that by saying “I just love it.” Her strong faith was demonstrated in the past few days by having her family gather around and pray with her for support and strength.
