Mary Sue and I got home yesterday from a five week trip in our RV. We spent the first week in Glen Rose visiting with my kids and grankids. Then on to Boerne for a month. In San Antonio we visited with Leanne Guess and two of her boys. She was married to Bill Bailey Guess, Mary Sues nephew, who passed away a couple of years ago. He grew up in Weinert. We also visited with the former Rita Beth McWhorter from Rochester, her husband, John, and Rita Beths son and his wife. We came close to freezing to death a couple of days in Boerne but managed to survive. We also attended a graveside service in Llano for Harold Sears. His wife, Mary, was Sues partner in a beauty shop next to Pogues grocery. I also took a couple of classes at The Apple Store. We ate barbecue in Stephenville, Llano, Glen Rose, and Junction. Ate Mexican food in Boerne and San Antonio. I probably gained ten pounds. On the way home we spent the night in San Angelo and went to see a couple from my time at A&M. A great trip but that was our last rodeo. This week I am cleaning out and cleaning up the trailer and selling it.
