Maryland Casting Call for a Caucasian Female in an upcoming show: Title: African Connection - Life in the African Community of the DMV Type: Scripted, Comedic/Dramatic Web-series Synopsis: African Connection is a about a Naïve Nigerian – American who is challenged to discover the connection to her African culture. She meets 5 fellows already weaving through the complicated yet tight knit African community of the DMV. They welcome her in to their own personal lives and give her a thrilling yet fulfilling experience in what it means to be an African living abroad. She returns the favor by helping them reconcile some lost connections of their own. Casting for Rebecca: Rebecca is one of the best friends of the lead character, Monae. She is very fascinated and knowledgeable about the African culture. She is becomes very helpful to Monae who is on a quest to discover her African roots. Profile: Female Age 21 - 29 Caucasian Preferably Blond No Prior acting experience required - but needed to energetic and confident. Production Details: FILMING STARTS THIS WEEKEND! Season 1 consists of 8 episodes and filming will take place on weekends through the end of March. This is a supporting character so filming for it can be completed in 3 days.
