Mas Kagin Tapanis (MAKATAs) efforts to help local communities in Madang coastal areas establish their Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures as expected by the Convention on Biological Diversity and International Union for Conservation Network of which PNG is a signatory to is contained in the Madang Spatial Planning Document. Attached please find the Madang Spatial Planning Document. Resource Managers, please upload this document. I urge other Madang citizens to also upload and share this document with others. We need to capture the development plans of our province and see how we all can contribute towards ensuring that our province meets the Millennium Development Goals, Vision 2050, Kalibobo Vision and other strategic development plans for our province and nation. It needs a concerted effort to see positive change happening in our province, nation and region. Remember this famous quote from John John F Kennedy: Ask not what your government can do for you. But what can you do for your country! I hope this should challenge each one of us in Madang to start contributing positively in our own ways to see Madang prosper into 2030 and soon reach 2050.
