On an urban scale, touching the earth lightly – yet firmly grounded on a gabion podium, the rectangular form wrapped in wire mesh is an elegant façade that grows gently out of the ground from west to east seen from the N12. The eastern corner floats above the recessed gabion podium as though it is making a welcoming gesture to the major junction of N12 and R 58. This corner is celebrated by a gigantic electronic advertising screen, thus pronouncing itself as an urban intervention. Inside the mall, mall ways are lineally set up, with a Checkers Hypermarket store anchoring the lower ground level and Game anchoring the upper ground floor. The eastern side on lower ground opens up to the on grade main parking lot. The different levels are linked up by stair ways, lifts and escalators. The main atrium is placed asymmetrically towards the east and is a triple volume space opening on to the entertainment area. It is animated by a spectacular roof light and crisscrossing bridges. This is a space pf activity and the heart of the centre. The upper ground floor will house the cinemas, a gym, a banking court as well as a food court. A plethora of fashion retailers will be split between the various floors.
