Masons Friday: We are home! He woke up this morning and said its time to go home. So once Drs came in we got discharged and were on the road at appx noon. As all of u know Mason is an outdoorsman and when we got outside he said the sun and fresh air feels so good! After the process of getting him out of bed and into the wheelchair, we needed that positive! Ugh! Getting in and out of the car was very difficult but the ride itself went well. He did comment on the bumps but was a trooper! Once we got home we cleaned him up and got him settled into recliner. We are all going to get stronger in this process, we dont need boot camp madness, we have an injured child. :) Sorry trying to find some humor. Once we got him settled, we all worked together to organize our house for our new temp lifestyle. Included in this was a medication map, Wow is he on a lot of meds! I then ran to medical supply store because wheelchair needed tweaked and we needed a few other supplies. Came home had a few visitors, but things were pretty quiet. I finally got a shower and we had frozen pizza for supper. Mason just wanted fruit. About 9, Mason was ready for bed. We decided Tristan and my bed was best fit for situation. Yup another workout and a few tears. Finally got him medicated and comfy and he is sleeping well so far. We did get our wake up call today that this IS going to be very hard, but we can do it! Well...2 oclock meds will be here before u know it and this Mom finally gets to sleep in a bed!! Good night all! Thank you!
