Masons Monday: He woke this morining in generally good spirits - but that changed rather rapidly. We went for the ultra sound and soon had a repeat of uncontrolled pain similar to Sunday night. This bout angered his anut and brought tears to others eyes and before we knew it mason had a Morophine pump that he now controls his pain meds. Not long after that he got several much needed visitors, while he slept off and on the whole visit, he truly enjoyed the visits from his classmates. Follwed by their visit was some good news, his liver shows no signs of damage, the trauma to his muscles/bones/etc. is causing his jaundice and his billirubin to rise. They will continue to monitor to make sure it goes down and not up and we will have to do a repeat blood test a couple of weeks after we go home. He is in pain but is only complaining of his leg, so we are assuming his spine fracture is not causing much grief at this point, however he hasnt done much sitting up or standing which may or may not cause more stress on the fracture. After that news, we received several more guests and expressions of kindness in all forms, some which were way out of line. While Mason has slept through most of these visits, he has gotten very teary eyed on several occasions because of the outpouring of love shown by so many. Tonight these same expressions along with everything else have hit me and I am a blubbering mess. I will not ever know how to repay each and everyone of you for EVERYTHING!! Calls, texts, visits, gifts, food, people filling in for us at work, prayers, hugs.....the list goes on and on. I only hope I am half the person that all of you have been to us!! I LOVE YOU ALL - I really dont know how else to express how I feel inside!! Please continue to pray for Mason, Tyler, Ben and all of our families. God has blessed abundantly already, so I feel guilty asking for more, however we still are going to rely heavliy on our faith to get us through the days ahead! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!
