Mass Peace Rally by SUMA on Nov 29 ITANAGAR, Nov 25: The Students’ Union Movement of Arunachal Pradesh (SUMA), in a meeting here today, decided to organize a Mass Peace Rally on November 29 from Itanagar to Nirjuli to register its strong protest against non-fulfillment of its demands as well as to sensitize the general public about the serious issues. SUMA has been opposing the formation of the Joint High Power Committee (JHPC) constituted by the state government under the chairmanship of MP Takam Sanjoy to consider the issuance of PRC to non-APST residing in Arunachal Pradesh, undue use of the nomenclature “All Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students Union (AAPCSU)” by Chakma refugees settled at Dayun (Changlang). SUMA is also demanding complete prohibition on implementation of Multi Sectoral Development Project (Minority Scheme) and to curb the formation of Naga People’s Front (NPF), the regional political party of Nagaland, in Arunachal Pradesh immediately. for more info. arunachaltimes.in/
