Massa Franklin Cudjoe, if u r going to attribute stuff to me, abeg, make una make sure its actually my view. I had a specific exchange with u recently. And it centered around ya wholesale rejection & condemnation social intervention programs for the poor. In addition to ya fundamental rejection of social interventions, u specifically mentioned corruption as one of ya reasons for opposing LEAP. My reaction was that it is not the poor who perpetuates the corruption- so we shld not blame the poor or deny them such opportunities bcos of the greed of our politicians & their business cronies. I specifically defended LEAP bcos I believe it is a necessary intervention that will benefit REAL PEOPLE in tangible ways & bcos I could speak ON AUTHORITY & I know first hand how hard Nana Oye works to protect the integrity of the program & to ensure it benefits the intended targets. And that is why i repeatedly said, lets avoid the wholesale bastardization of ALL social interventions- but rather do our part as citizens/activists to check the corruption & make it succeed. I have not defended any other social intervention programs in Ghana. None. So what you just attributed to me in your new post today is a COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION of my views. I am NOT a politician & I am NOT a PARTISAN political activist. I dont appreciate bn dragged into such discourse...*M
