Massive Road Jam Date : 12 / 11 / 2012 Time : 3.46pm After sending my son to his school for his boy scout activities, decided to return to one of my centres. Was totally surprised that at this time of day the road was piling up with vehicles. The weather was fine and I wondered whether it could be one of those serious accident that could cause such a massive jam in such a short while. All the four lanes were not moving at all. Instead of getting frustrated over the situation, while looking at the digital clock on the dashboard of the car, a sudden thought came to my mind. "Why am I not using this time to cast a gua to see what has happened?" I could easily kill two birds with one stone. On one hand, I could while away the time and on the other hand, I could test out my skill in divination. It was 3:46pm. Instead of using 3:46pm to get the yijing guas, instantly I used 15:46 so as to differentiate the am and the pm. The guas I derived were as followed:- Current : gen ☶ over kan ☵. gen ☶ as stop and kan ☵ as cars. This hexagram shows cars are stopping and piling up. Process : kun ☷ over zhen ☳ kun ☷ as broken and zhen ☳ as tree. This hexagram shows broken tree and broken tree might be cause of the jam which resulted us -> Resultant : gen ☶ over dui ☱ gen ☶ as stop and dui ☱ as joy or as cut. This can be interpreted as unhappy (stop joy) or it can be interpreted as stop and cut (the tree into smaller pieces). Kindly see the attached picture for the result of my prediction.
