Massive congratulations to England Womens Rugby on their World Cup triumph! Were also particularly proud that three of the winning match-day squad have strong Hartpury College RFC connections. Our former Womens Rugby Academy manager, Danielle Waterman, finished Englands first try and you can see her post-match interview via the link. Also picking up medals were former students Alex Matthews and Ceri Large, who both played their part throughout the tournament and as second half replacements in the final itself. This was a hugely deserved win for a squad that had finished as runners up in each of the past three WRWCs. Well done to all of the players, coaches and support staff involved!
