Not only is the pocket watch impressive, but the box that it comes in comprises of about 3,500 components. The wood in which the box is carved out of is from the Royal Oak Tree grown on the Versailles Estate, where Marie Antoinette lived. It was sold to Montres Breguet so that the company could preserve some history for the watch. The watch remained in the possession of Antoinette descendents for years, eventually coming to reside in a museum in Jerusalem. In 1983, the original Marie Antoinette Breguet was stolen from the museum and considered lost forever...
