Forest continued to dominate the first half with Tom Harvey and Jack Accott both testing keeper Matt Elsey but Lolzors held on at the break. It was very much the same in the second half and Tom Harvey fired a free kick wide before Jack Accott fired another effort at Elsey which was well saved. A mistake in the Forest defence then allowed Matt Toohey in, but he agonisingly fired wide and Kallum Handy almost deceived Forest keeper Russell with a long range effort but was well saved. Forest continued to press for that vital equaliser but the Lolzors defence continued to stand resolute and they took the points, putting a massive dent in Forests title hopes! Queens Head 0 v 8 Athletico Kebab (Hollingsbee 4, Neaves 3, T.Galloway) Athletico Kebab took a huge step to being Ball Lane Sixes champions tonight with a fine 8-0 win over struggling Queens Head. Athletico started very well and a fine effort from Ryan Hollingsbee got them off to the best start, firing low past the keeper. Queens - who were under-strength tonight - could not contend with the ability of Kebab and from the first strike, it was simply how many they could score last the pub side. The answer was an impressive 8, with Hollingsbee scoring 4, Matt Neaves grabbing a hattrick and Tim Galloway firing home at the death, to give them a huge chance of taking the title for the first time, with only two games remaking. This reflected the first half performance for both sides with the game fairly tight with very few chances, with Dejagah doing well to keep the lively Charing front three of Matt Pearce, Liam Steel and Ben Raggett quiet - neither side found the breakthrough in the first half. The game opened up in the second half with both sides going close early on, with Matt Pearce firing an effort wide and James Bond dinking the ball over the keeper that evaded the far post. It was United who took an early lead with a defence splitting pass from Steve Hopkins, sent Mike Pegg through and he brilliantly dinked the ball over the oncoming keeper. The lead did not last long however, when a fine solo effort from Nick Stickells sent keeper Wayne Scorah, who was having a fine game, the wrong way, meaning the scores were level at half time. The game was tight in the second half but it was Melt who began to take the game to United, with keeper Scorah pulling off several fine saves.
