Match Report: Monday 10th March In the Monday 5 a side Premier League Lincolnshire Poacher II got off to a great start in their first game in the 5 a side league. It was a tight game that was hanging on a knife edge but with just 1 more goal than opponents Dynamo Horn, the won 13-12. Arnold Celtic put last week’s defeat behind them to beat R5 8-5. Inter make it back to back victories in their 2nd game tonight narrowly beating San Marino 10-7. Son of a Pitch were in goal scoring form tonight hitting home 25 goals to Top Lad’s 4. The final game in the league saw 2nd and 3rd go head to head with Came BPT facing El Diablo. It was always set to be an exciting game with both giving as good as they got. With some goals late on El Diablo edged the game 13-9. PMG return to the Monday 6’s Premier League with a bang securing 2 wins tonight. First up they faced newly promoted Quiz Akaboosi, with PMG’s Celio’s 2 goals they stomped to a 6-4 victory. PMG then went on to narrowly beat Unseen & Silent 6-5 and it was Wes’ turn to bag 2 goals and claim the man of the match award. Blueberry Cheese start the season as they mean to go on with a comfortable victory. Scoregasm were looking to continue their brilliant form from last season which saw them promoted from the Championship as champions. Tonight Scoregasm faced Sherwood in an end to end battle seeing Sherwood edge it 7-6. Jazz bagged a hattrick for Sherwood. Blue Boys fly to the top of the Monday 6’s Championship on goal difference with a 9-7 win against Valley. Blue Boy’s Kieron was on fire tonight scoring 5 goals. Match of the Day ran out 4-3 winners against Beatables. Unathletico Madrid were delighted to get off the mark with 3 points tonight, it was a tight game throughout with Smack My Pitch Up scoring some decent goals too. The final score finished 5-3 to Madrid. The game of the night in this league saw Psychi-Hattrick and Lincolnshire Poacher go head to head in a 11 goal thriller. Both teams were playing some nice football and working the goalkeepers. But with only 1 goal in it Lincolnshire ran out 6-5 winners and Matt was over the moon to score a hattrick. Newcomers Egg Fried Reus put in a match winning performance to beat Charlie Palmer 5-2 in the Monday 6’s League One. Top Lad’s first 6 a side game sees them beat Crystal Phallus 3-1. Luke claimed the MOM with 2 goals. GSB were in fine form tonight with their defence and goalkeeper having a great game whilst their strikers also did the business to beat 2 Goals 1 Cup 5-0. Bayern Neverlussin managed to double their opponents M&S’s goal tally by 8 goals to 4. Dion was the star man in this game setting up 3 goals and also grabbing a hattrick for Bayern. Pathetico Madrid start off their first season in the 6 a side league with 3 points safely in the bag.
