Match Report: Monday 30th June The Monday 6 a side Premier League tonight saw one game with in form Sherwood Sonics facing a good Humm Digners side looking to build on last weeks victory. It was Sonics who proved why they are unbeaten so far this season making it 3 wins out of 2. Thanks to a cameo appearance from Harkin and with Jordan in great form again they managed to win the game 7-1. In the Monday 6 a side Championship the league leaders Beatables were in good form tonight with Kyle scoring 4 of their 8 goals in a tightly contested game against Smack My Pitch Up. The table toppers had a lot of possession but SMPU put in some great tackles to make it difficult for them to score. In the end there was only 2 goals in it with Beatables securing a 8-6 victory. Pathetico Madrid managed to put last weeks defeats behind them with an excellent 6-2 victory over Psychi-Hattrick. Madrid’s manager Neil put in a stand out performance with some great hold up play and sealed the deal with 2 goals for his side. Unathletico Madrid vs Top Lad was the final game of the league and it was Madrid that remain top of the table with a fantastic 11-4 win thanks to 4 fine goals from Ben. Newcomers to the Monday 6 a side League One Wagamamma’s were unfortunate not to come away with any points against an experienced Bayern Neverlussen side. It was a tight game but it was Bayern that edged the game 5-3. GSB were delighted to pick up their first victory of the new season which sees them move up to 7th place in the table. GSB managed to beat a high flying Charlie Palmer side to put an end to their winning streak. The final score finishing 8-5. Lincolnshire Poacher take advantage of the teams around them dropping points as they fly up to top spot. Poacher played out a real cracker of a match against a good M&S side with both teams giving as good as they got. There was only 1 goal between the two sides with the Lincolnshire boys running out 6-5 winners. Newly named Surreal FC build on last week’s draw with a 6-2 victory over Egg Fried Reus who started the night off at the top of the table. That victory takes Surreal up to 5th and Egg Fried Reus drop to 2nd. Another tight game in this league saw Valley go head to head with Jurassic Porkers. It was the latter that sealed the 3 points in this one showing great character and teamwork to put last week’s defeat behind them to run out 6-5 winners over Valley. Son of a Pitch continue their fine run of victories in the Monday Gatorade 5’s and significantly increase their goal difference. Tonight they were unstoppable claiming the 3 points in a 45-1 victory. San Marino jump up to the 3rd spot with a crucial game next week against the leaders. Tonight Marino hit home 16 goals to R5’s 10 which sees R5 remain in 7th place. Lincolnshire Poacher keep the pressure on at the top with their 5th win on the bounce this week righting their wrongs from the reverse fixture to beat Dynamo Horn 17-8.
